LANDSCAPES AND SEASCAPES
Not just a little piece of rock in the middle of the Mediterranean but a scenic haven for both locals, tourists and yes, artists.
The north side of the islands slopes gently into the sea and is the most populated.
The South with its cliffs which though less than mountain high, give the impression of ruggedness, is a place of contemplation where the Maltese can get away from it all.
Most of the geography of the islands is hilly and the roads winding, helping to give it a rustic look
Scenic bays and inlets abound all around both islands and one can expect that little bit of blue sea in every scene photographed or painted.
Such is this collection especially when my painting is of days gone by, when the islands were much less built up than today.
